Last week I was lucky enough to host a discussion during the Shade trilogy (by Jeri Smith-Ready) read-along at Kilt and Keeley. You guys, these books just kill me! All the feelings! If you have yet to read this series, I highly recommend it. It's amazing and Jeri is such a fantastic, friendly, dedicated author. I love Team Kilt, too! Anyway... I hosted the conversation for chapters 12-20 of Shine (book 3), so if you'd like to check it out, go here. I have to warn you though, it's spoilery!
Now for the BIG announcement!!! She Dreams in Fiction has... wait for iiiiit... a new reviewer! Woo hoo! Everybody, welcome my great friend, Naomi! I am so excited to have her join me and I'm really excited for you guys to meet her. So without further ado, here's Nomi!
Hello! As Melissa has said, my name is Naomi, and I'm so happy to be able to do book reviews with Litza on her wonderful blog! Some of you (but more probably none of you) may remember that I've been here before! I did a guest review on The Name of the Star a while back. We both had such a good time with it that Litza has asked me back, but on a more permanent basis. This is so exciting to me, as I just love love love books and reading, and writing reviews gives me a good excuse to buy lots and lots of books (and it might make my husband look the other way too...)!
A few things about me: I've been married to my wonderful husband for almost 3 years now, and we have the cutest, most adorable almost-two-year-old baby girl. She also loves to read! I am fortunate enough that I get to stay at home and be a full-time mom to her. When my daughter is otherwise occupying herself, I read! I just can't get enough of a good book! Melissa and I have similar tastes in genres, but with enough differences that it keeps things interesting. I mostly read YA novels of all genres lately, but I've been known to kick back with an epic fantasy or some chick lit here and there.
I don't know what else to say, except that Melissa and I have some good ideas in the works that we hope you'll enjoy as much as we will!
And with that, I'll end by saying, "Nice to meet you!"
