The topic this week is Top Ten Books I Wouldn't Mind Santa Bringing Me. My book wishlist is a mile long at least, so there is definitely no shortage of books I would love to have. Hmm... that makes this really difficult, actually. Dang it! Well, here goes nothing. By the way, Happy Holidays everyone!
Here are some books I most certainly wouldn't mind if Santa gave them to me for Christmas:
A Midsummer Tight's Dream by Louise Rennison - I absolutely adored Withering Tights and her Georgia Nicholson series, so I can't wait to read this one! Well, apparently I can, but I wouldn't have to wait much longer if I go the book for Christmas. Hee hee.
Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein - I really really want to read this but I haven't purchased it yet. I need it to come in at work and then I'll get a stellar discount... or Santa can bring it for me!
The Goddess Inheritance by Aimee Carter - I simply MUST find out how Kate's story ends!
Champion by Marie Lu - I still haven't read Prodigy because I've been waiting for this one... but now it's been released, I am ready to read it all!
Harry Potter special edition paperback set by J. K. Rowling - OH MY WORD! I know I own the whole series in hardcover, but have you SEEN this set? It's gorgeous! It's even better in person (I was ogling it at Barnes and Noble when it came out), so I want this on my shelf next to its equally wonderful fraternal twin. What a happy family we would be!
The Chaos of Stars by Kiersten White - Another book that is absolutely gorgeous in person. AND it's mythological! You know how I'm a sucker for anything with some mythology in it, especially if it's in a pretty package.
Just Like Fate by Cat Patrick and Suzanne Young - I'm a huge fan of Suzanne Young and I fully plan on owning and reading everything she's done. Plus, this book sounds so freakin' amazing!
These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner - I've heard so many people talk to me about this book lately, I simply must have it! That many people can't be wrong, right?!
Game by Barry Lyga - I loved I Hunt Killers, but it kind of creeped the heck out of me. However, I think I'm ready to read Game now. I just want to know Jazz is going to be okay!!
Ever After High: The Storybook of Legends by Shannon Hale - I NEED this one. I have every one of her (non-graphic novel) books and this one would look amazing next to them all! Besides, Shannon Hale is amazing.
So which books were at the top of your holiday wishlist?! Any books I should add to my list for next year? Let me know in the comments below!
