A chance reading of a newspaper ad will send 16 year old Thomas Byrne into the world within our world.
Following the ad he will find Guardians Incorporated. A seven thousand year old organization charged with protecting the balance between Magic and technology.
Through their guidance, technology has kept Magic at bay since the Renaissance, but the balance is shifting and soon all those creatures we've driven into myth and legend will come back with a vengeance.
To protect the present, Guardians Incorporated needs to know the future and to unlock the future they need a Cypher.

I'd like to say I'm sorry for taking so long to officially announce the winner of the Follower Love Giveaway Hop. Oh man, so much has changed lately! I think I might write a post about one of the recent changes in my life, but I need some time! I'm going to make this announcement short and sweet. But first! I'd like to thank every single one of you for tweeting, commenting, and everything else you did to get She Dreams in Fiction over 200 followers. As promised, I've let Rafflecopter select two random winners. These two lucky readers are...
It's yet another giveaway! This Hop is hosted by The Book Hookup and I Am A Reader, Not A Writer. I have been looking forward to this giveaway since I first signed up for it, you guys. I basically get to share with you a book, author, setting, character, etc that simply makes me swoon. In my case, I'm celebrating an author who certainly knows how to make swoonworthy characters. Not only is she incredibly gifted with her characters, she also has an unbelievably beautiful writing style, makes her own gorgeous books trailers (complete with music!), creates killer art and playlists for her books and is just all-around awesome. Who might I be speaking about? Oh, just my author crush... Maggie Stiefvater! EEEEE! This woman can do no wrong, I tell you! She's a genius! If ever I were to meet her, I think I might faint. Okay, in all honesty I'd probably just start rambling like an idiot and go all fangirly on her. But still, fainting might happen. You never know. As you may or may not have noticed, I gush about Maggie all the time to anyone and everyone, so I thought it only fitting to focus this giveaway around her amazing, fantastic, breathtaking, swoonerific novels!
So what's up for grabs, you may ask? Well, how's about... everything! One winner will get...

Who would have guessed that four minutes could change everything?
Today should be one of the worst days of seventeen-year-old Hadley Sullivan's life. Having missed her flight, she's stuck at JFK airport and late to her father's second wedding, which is taking place in London and involves a soon-to-be stepmother Hadley's never even met. Then she meets the perfect boy in the airport's cramped waiting area. His name is Oliver, he's British, and he's sitting in her row.
A long night on the plane passes in the blink of an eye, and Hadley and Oliver lose track of each other in the airport chaos upon arrival. Can fate intervene to bring them together once more?
Quirks of timing play out in this romantic and cinematic novel about family connections, second chances, and first loves. Set over a twenty-four-hour-period, Hadley and Oliver's story will make you believe that true love finds you when you're least expecting it.
Hello readers! This year I am trying to be more vigilant in my reading. I've signed up for a TBR Pile Reading Challenge and set my reading goal on Goodreads to 30. Last year I was horribly behind and didn't meet my goal... I even lowered it and still missed it by two books. Le sigh. I'm hoping I'll be able to do much better with getting books read and reviews up. To help me figure out what needs to be read, I counted all the YA/MG books sitting on the shelves waiting for me. There are 57. Ahem. I'm such a slacker! I'm even posting my wrap-up post late! Lame-o. Anyway, I have been reading and reviewing, so I thought I'd share my progress so far.
