July Blog Wrap-Up

Hey you guys! Yeah, I couldn't resist using that again. Maybe it'll be our new thing... or something. Anywhoozle. Hiya! Melissa here, ready to share (a little belated) all the stuff we've been doing this last month.

July was a really busy, but fun, month! I celebrated my birthday and Nomi's hubby and little one had birthdays, too! We've had some awesome events and books to keep us company, though not too many reviews were posted. I'm going to try to get those reviews done, I swear! Anyway, I guess I'll just get down to business.

(To see how I'm doing on my Reading Challenges, check it out HERE!)

The Summer of No Regrets by Katherine Grace Bond - I read this one for the blog tour above. I enjoyed it well enough, but it wasn't a favorite.
The Avery Shaw Experiment by Kelly Oram - Oh my word, this was so cute! I loved the story and the characters so very much! A great book to break in my new phone/kindle app.
Inkheart (audiobook) by Cornelia Funke - I grabbed this to listen to on my way to work. I LOVE this series and the narrator does a great job. I definitely enjoyed it.
Franny K. Stein, Mad Scientist: Lunch Walks Among Us by Jim Benton - Oh my goodness, this chapter book is so incredibly adorable! I love how Franny does an experiment to find out how to fit in with the kids at school. Then she finds out she's fine just as she is. Super cute with a good message, too!
The Program by Suzanne Young - This book has quickly become one of my favorite reads... not only of this year, but we're talking of all-time, too! It's so powerful and heartbreaking and fantastic and has believable, engaging characters. I simply can't wait to see what happens next!
Blankets by Craig Thompson - I did it! I actually read a book I had planned to read! Granted, this was our YA book club pick... but still! Success! Now if only I could have enjoyed it like everyone else did. I guess it's just not my thing.
