Sarah B.
Sarah won with her entry: It's the End of the Month as We Know It, as you can see from the title of this post. Isn't it fun? I almost wonder why we didn't think of it ourselves! We're so glad she did though! Sarah, we'll be emailing you shortly so we can send you your prize! Yay!
Thank you everyone for entering! All your suggestions were great, and we loved getting your input! It was fun for us to host, and we're thinking of doing more contests (as well as giveaways, of course) in the future so we can have more chances to interact with you guys!
So on my part, there wasn't much going on last month, due to being generally busy in my life, but hopefully that will be less of a problem this month. Litza, on the other hand, has been really busy reading books and writing reviews! Here are the ones she did in August:
Reviews Done

This Song Will Save Your Life by Leila Sales
Contests
This contest is obviously over (since the winner has been announced in this very post) but you can go back to see what she won if you are so inclined. Or something. Carry on!
Read this month
Bittersweet by Sarah Ockler - I truly enjoyed this one. It was a little different than I thought it was going to be, but I really liked that. I also loved that each chapter started with a type of cupcake! YUM!
A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray - Oh my goodness, I really liked this one! It was our August book club pick and it was unanimously loved. I seriously need to read the next two books, stat!
This Song Will Save Your Life by Leila Sales - So it probably comes as no surprise that this was my favorite book of the month, considering how much I talk about it. But seriously! Read it!
Lulu and the Brontosaurus by Judith Viorst - I'm really enjoying these kids books, you guys. This book captured my attention by the freakishly adorable cover... then I fell in love with this story.
Inkspell (audiobook) by Cornelia Funke - I simply can't express enough how much I love this trilogy! For this audiobook, they changed up the narrator from the first one. Brendan Fraser did a STELLAR job with this reading! He was so good at the characters that I sometimes forgot there was only one person reading it.
Confessions of a Latter-Day Virgin: A Memoir by Nicole Hardy - It's been a while since I've read a memoir and this one was definitely entertaining... and relate-able. Yay Netgalley!
Skippyjon Jones, Skippyjon Jones in the Doghouse and Skippyjon Jones in Mummy Trouble by Judy Schachner - I have a new favorite thing and that new favorite thing is Skippyjon Jones. I LOVE THESE BOOKS! Every time I see one come in at work, I have to read it (if I haven't already) and exclaim how much I love them. So freakin' adorable.

So this is the best part. I read absolutely nothing last month. Go me! I'm hoping to get quite a few books in me this month, though I'm not entirely sure what...

Except for this. I am definitely getting my hands on this.
