It's the End of the Month As We Know It: December

Greetings everyone! I hope the holidays were wonderful for you and yours! As for things here, I had a very different, but very nice Christmas and New Year. Both were pretty low-key and I was able to enjoy time with my family. Book-wise, not much happened for me. I wasn't really in the mood to read a lot, so I didn't get too many books read. I'm definitely going to be playing catch up in January, that's for sure! Yikes. Hee hee. Let's recap, shall we?!

Reviews Done

Yeup, that's right. I didn't write a single review. Le sigh. Let's hope I'm better at this in 2014!

All month long I participated in this week of looking back (and forward). I highlighted such things as favorite book boyfriends of 2013, favorite reads of 2013, 2014 must-reads and other topics. If you'd like to check them out, click on the banner above!
Thanks everyone for entering these two giveaways! Both ended, so it's time I officially announce the winners. Congratulations Tamara A. for winning a copy of Pawn by Aimee Carter in the Best of 2013 giveaway! Congrats also go to Tiffany D. for winning the box of mystery ARCs in my surprise giveaway! I think I fit like 10 of them in there or something. I'm so excited for the great turnout, you guys! I love doing giveaways, they're so much fun!

Read this month
Fireblood by Trisha Wolfe - An entertaining and exciting fantasy tale!
Lost and Found: Three by Shaun Tan - Amazing illustrations and three great tales!
Shattered (novella) by Jeri Smith-Ready - Oh my goodness, this is so good! Heartbreaking and beautiful.

I didn't read many books in December, but I really enjoyed those I did. Especially Shattered!
