4 Year Anniversary Celebration! (+ updated giveaway!)

Greetings lovely readers! On December 1st, 4 years ago, I launched She Dreams in Fiction. Can you believe it has been 4 years since I started this lovely little blog? I know it has been quiet around here the last couple years, but I am still reading and blogging, so thank you for sticking around. You are positively spectacular!

Quite a lot has happened in these last 4 years. I have learned a few things during this time, one being it is okay to take a break from something, even something you love. I have learned to listen to myself better and focus on things that help me to improve myself and be happy. One thing I have been focusing on this year in particular is reading for pleasure again. In previous years, I felt a lot of pressure to review EVERY SINGLE BOOK I read. Why? Why must this be a thing? Well, I decided it didn't need to be and just started reading. This exercise has proven to be most excellent. Happiness has a way of showing up even in the most difficult of times.

Anyway, to celebrate this 4 years of bookish awesomeness, I thought I would have a giveaway! The giveaway will run through the rest of the month of December, so spread the news! Share the love! Get those bookish family and friends of yours to stop by and enter!

What will I be giving away, you may ask? Well, I thought it would be nice to offer one lucky reader their pick from a list of my favorite books in the last 4 years! Oh my goodness, it was terribly difficult to narrow the list down to one book read per year, let me tell you! This giveaway is open to international readers as well, just make sure the Book Depository ships to your country.

Attachments by Rainbow Rowell
Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater
Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins
This Song Will Save Your Life by Leila Sales

I will be selecting TWO (2!) winners! One winner will be able to receive a box of 2016 ARCs (US only, unfortunately)! I have acquired quite a few this year and I want to find them a nice home, which is where this update comes in. And remember, you can tweet EVERY SINGLE DAY until the giveaway ends (which is soon)!

  1. Happy 4th Anniversary!!!! Time flies, doesn't it? :) Though I do love it when blogs turn certain ages as it means that the creator has put in a lot of work and kept going no matter what! :)

You've got a great selection of books there! I've read all of them except the Rainbow Rowell one, so that would be my pick if I am fortunate enough to be picked from the rafflecopter!

Fun fact: I recently started doing yoga and it's great, except for the fact that I literally suck at it! -shrug- I do really love the calming/breathing excercices and to focus more on mindfulness so that's something that I want to keep doing... and that's about it ! :) Sorry for the long ramble!

    1. Thanks very much! Time certainly does fly. I feel like I just blinked and 3 months went by! I am so happy you are interested in the Rainbow Rowell book. Attachments was one of those books that I felt like I said goodbye to my best friends after I closed it. I love when that happens!

I have been wanting to try my hand at yoga, but I'm nervous I'll fall on my head or something. I'm uber clumsy!

    1. I haven't tried audible yet, but I have totally been loving all of the audiobooks on my commute!

    1. Oh my goodness, it is SO GOOD! I am not known for being tearful, but this book made me cry, it's that wonderful. Good choice!
